Bespoke mirror cabinet

A custom made mirror cabinet to work with a sloped bathroom ceiling

Write up.

When that roof gets in the way...

It's never ideal having to arrange a custom piece (of anything) made. The cost and lead-time inevitably rise. Both this room and the main bathroom at the opposite end of the building required the vanity areas within this area of sloped ceiling. This was the only solution without having an oddly-narrow cabinet. The width was too wide for one single door so the door was split into two halves. The mechanics of the slope-side door opening mean it had to be hinged like this and although I myself was a bit hesitant when measuring for it, I feel it worked out great with ease of use. We used a longstanding supplier and they really came through. The doors are demist glass, sensor switch, edge and internally lit, with adjustable glass shelves and internal powerpoint.

I'm a big fan of the term; 'measure twice, cut once.' In this case it was definitely; 'measure 3 times, order once!'
